Ecumenism and Therapy

Dear reader,

  How foolish is a sick person considered, who refuses a method of therapy that is

recommended by all the physicians, because he wishes to adapt it to his weaknesses! But how criminal would it be if this foolish sick patient would try to convince the other patients to go against the prescriptions of the physicians and follow their own cure and even much worse to wish to falsify and distort the medical books and the findings of science of the last few centuries, so that they be adapted for the next few years to their own sick knowledge and to thus deprive the therapy to future patients......

                What would the regular physicians have done then? Wouldn't they denounce the medical philosophy of the sick pseudo-physicians? Would they not defend the healthy science? Would they not accuse those physicians who abandoned the proper medicine and accepted the false medicine of the diseased, with dangerous and criminal neglect? About such neglect we wish to let you know, dear reader.

                The teaching and life of the Orthodox Church, is nothing more than spiritual medicine, namely, a method of therapy for every person from the sinful passions that mankind inherited following its fall from Paradise (vanity, avarice, sensuality, simply love of oneself, love of oneself with empathy and not love of God, of our fellow people and of ourselves in a healthy way). This life was taught to us by the Man-God Christ , the lover of mankind Saviour and was taught by example through His Grace by innumerable holy Disciples during the ages, Apostles, Martyrs, Holy Confessors while protecting the true faith as a necessary assumption for the healing of sin.

                However, because our therapy is not simple, some tried to "simplify" it and teach a different way of salvation, blending the true "Therapeutic method" of the physician Christ with their own method. These are the leaders of heresies, the heresiarchs. The Orthodox Church to protect the faithful, always condemned the teachings of the heresiarchs, the heresy and separates or distances the heretics from the congregations of the faithful. Like to day unfortunately, there are again pseudo-physicians of the soul, orthodox clerics and theologians, who mix the true medicine of Christ and of the Spirit-bearing Saints with the healing philosophy of the heretics. This destructive blend of truth with lies, the spiritual healing and quackery is called Ecumenism.

                The "Ecumenical Movement" began as an effort of many Christian confessions to help resolve the social problems that plagued the world following the 2nd World War. The founding (in 1948) of the "World Council of Churches" (WCC), was accompanied from its first irregularity of the participating Orthodox ecumenists: "Acceding to the name of WCC they accepted that the protestant suckers that participated in it were "churches" while the Symbol of Faith clearly accepts only One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. This Church, the Orthodox Church has simply a united faith, and therefore is one even if it is composed of many local Orthodox Churches.

                The Ecumenists, orthodox and non, developed the wild "branch theory" according to which no one Christian confession, not even the Orthodox Church has the whole truth, but only parts of the truth (like a tree divides into branches) and in this way they try to belie Christ and the Apostles who emphasize that the Church will never cease to exist and that she is the column and foundation of truth (Matt 16:18; 1Tim 3:15)

                This way the clerics and theologians of ecumenism try to convince that the Orthodox and the papists or protestants are all Christian at the same level, even though the former keep the Bible unaltered while the rest they "cut and sew" the words of Christ and the Apostles as they please, the ones believe that the Grace is Godly, while the others that it is created, the ones are baptized while the others are sprinkled, the ones honour the saints while the others do not, etc.

                The ecumenical hierarchs co-worship with heretics while some celebrate the Divine Liturgy with those that oppose the teaching of the Holy Bible and of the Ecumenical Synods, in other words the teachings of Christ and the Saints. This way instead of teaching the heretics the truth, to save them from the heresy, they let them think they believe correctly. Besides, they impede many heretics from becoming Orthodox, not to sadden the heretic clerics. However. And while ecumenists love the heretics they hate or ignore those that justifiably protest.

                Recently the Christian ecumenists made openings to Judaism and Islam. Some even maintained that they too lead to salvation and that we all believe in the same God; with the blessings therefore of the ecumenists the road opens for the global leveling of religions. This is necessary for the establishment of the New Age, so that a common and global religious leader of all the people, the Antichrist, arrive.

                The first "brave" step of the (once) traditional Church of Greece toward the God hating ecumenists, was the receiving of the Pope in Greece as an ecclesiological leader, "Bishop of Rome" instead of being avoided and condemned as a heresiarch, as is commanded by the Holy Bible itself.(1Tim 6:3-5; Titus 3:10,11 etc)

                The departure from the truth by the Orthodox ecumenists is rewarded handsomely by the ecumenists, with fame and glory, applause, grants, banquets, trips and political exchanges. We however with patience, faith and love let us remain steadfast and ready for the defense of our true Faith, by which we and our fellow men are saved, amen. For the times harden.....
